  • To collect germplasm of medicinal plants species from various parts of the state and its screening.

  • To conserve the germplasm for biodiversity preservation for future studies.

3. Maintenance of biodiversity and medicinal plant museum.

Specimens of plants and animals are kept in the Museum. Different information regarding the research activities of the institute are exhibited in the museum. This museum is useful for forest staff, farmers, students and entrepreneurs.
